Why with Loumey

Four reasons that differentiate this service

  • 01

3D imaging into the sterile field

Floor or ceiling-mounted robotic C-arm with 3D reconstruction and dose reduction for staff and patient.

  • 02

    Multi-axis carbon table

Carbon-fiber radiolucent tables synchronized with the imaging system for automated positioning.

  • 03

    Guaranteed cleanroom air

HVAC with HEPA-filtered laminar flow and continuous particle monitoring. Documented compliance.

  • 04

    Total digital integration

DICOM/HL7, PACS, EMR, 4K UHD video routing. One cockpit, control of imaging + environment + lighting.

The hybrid OR is no longer optional

For public and private hospitals targeting cardiovascular, neurovascular or complex orthopedic procedures, the hybrid operating room is standard — not optional. Loumey Medical delivers the complete suite: infrastructure, imaging, table, monitoring, video, digital integration and commissioning under IEC 60601-1 and local standards.

What we include in the package

  • Environmental infrastructure: antimicrobial HPL or stainless steel panels, calculated lead shielding, cleanroom HVAC with HEPA laminar flow
  • Advanced imaging: floor/ceiling-mounted robotic C-arm, 3D reconstruction, dose reduction
  • Surgical table: multi-axis radiolucent carbon-fiber, synchronized with C-arm
  • Surgical lighting: shadowless satellite LED, integrated 4K cameras, adjustable color temperature
  • Pendants and boom arms: medical gases, power, data — keeping the floor clear
  • Video routing: 4K UHD over fiber to multiple displays + teaching auditorium
  • HIS/RIS/PACS and EMR integration
  • Anesthesia and hemodynamic monitoring integrated into the central cockpit
  • Training and full commissioning under international standards
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • Which specialties benefit most from a hybrid OR?
Interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, complex trauma and surgical oncology that require intra-operative imaging. The investment is justified when the hospital performs at least 200–300 annual procedures requiring it.
  • Can you integrate a C-arm the hospital already owns?
Yes, if technical specifications and equipment age are compatible. We first audit the existing equipment and provide a gap analysis between installed and required for a modern hybrid suite. Updating components is often more economical than replacing everything.
